Plate tectonics lab yesterday in Earth Science. Students used graham crackers, rice krispy treats, and icing to represent plates sliding across the upper mantle. Made for a nice appetizer before lunch too!

Boat building 1 is making great progress on their Bevin’s Skiff! The stem, side panels, transom, and center frame are installed. There’s nothing quite like building your first boat.
We have a wonderful visit from our local fire fighters.
Eighth-grade students are getting quite proficient at demonstrating their typing skills. They have also undertaken the challenge of creating short clip animations from a program by MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
