Wednesday morning WCA students gathered in the lobby for "Wednesday Worship; there was also a special time of prayer for the Nashville community." Students and teachers wore their "Bible Revival" shirts. Bible revival is a student-led movement that encourages worship, prayer, and spiritual growth in the body of Westover.

Westover Christian Academy joins millions of others to pray for the Covenant School and its community. This loss is tragic, and we seek help from the One who gives peace that passes all understanding. We pray for the affected families, the school, and the city of Nashville as they grieve.
"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18

Thank you Mr. Robertson for coming to Family Life class today to teach us how to tie a tie. It was lots of fun!

Our elementary chapel was honored to have Pastor Brian Edwards from Hope Church speak to the students on humility today. At the end of chapel, we gathered the Hope kids and teachers for a picture with Pastor Brian. We love the support of our local Pastors here at WCA!

Mrs. Beach's 1st grade class created a life cycle of a bird 🪺 to finish up their science chapter about animals and how they change.

One of the highlights of our 4th grade year is reading the novel "Number the Stars" by Lois Lowry. This historical fiction book tells the incredible true story of the Danish people and the Jewish people that they saved. Denmark rescued 99% of their Jewish population by hiding them on boats and giving them safe passage to Sweden. Fourth Grade students did a fabulous job of recreating their favorite scenes from the book!

The roller coasters really impressed me this year! Nothing like hands on learning!

Today, Westover Christian Academy inducted 14 new members into the Honor Society. These students were selected based on their high achievement in scholarship, Christian character, leadership, and service. The Honor Society serves the students and faculty of WCA and around our community. We are proud of these new members!
