10th grade English students worked in groups, selecting two poems from a given list and analyzing as they rotated through poetry stations. Each station had them identify various elements: the speaker, tone, mood, theme, meaning, poetry devices, and author's craft.

After reading the first five chapters of Treasure Island, 9th grade English students were tasked with creating an original character and writing their own chapter of the beloved classic. They presented their characters in class today as well as a summary of what they wrote. Their creativity is impressive!

Fifth graders had fun learning about mixtures this week. A mixture can under go a physical change like in trail mix. Yum! When they mixed oil, water, and food coloring; a chemical change occurred. 😎 Cool!
